Mainship proposes a double range: Pilots, from 31 to 45 feet, and the Trawlers (34 to 45 feet)
- « Pilot » have a hardtop protecting helm and salon,
- « Trawlers » double the living surface by using the top for a second helm and an upper salon and kitchen for a perfect panoramic view on sea.

This constructor has a reputation of valuable boats, with more duration than the competitors. This firm, now owned by it’s employees, is proud of its quality: They invest in all the modern technologies, and aim in every thing at the best of materials and quality. They manufacture all their moldings, and have a permanent new materials research, for high permanency and easy maintain. Production is split between the Saint Augustine facility, close to Luhrs manufacture, the origin mother firm, and a new facility in Salibury, MD.

Both comfort, efficiency and security are the key word of R&D work.
- Slippery hulls well-designed to provide a high level of efficiency at displacement speeds.
- Bunks and extra wide berths are generally treated to a custom inner-spring mattress
- A full service galley : Electric or propane stoves, refrigerators and microwaves plus sinks you can actually wash dishes in are all in place.
- Entertainment Centers with flat panel color televisions with DVDs are standard (except the Pilot™30) while AM/FM CD players are standard on all.
- Deck Showers are standard on all models. These are usually costly options on most boats.
- The larger trawlers have a split anchor locker to carry a full complement of chain on one side and a separate line and chain rode on the other. Plus a space for a spare Danforth.
- A great mast, location to attach radars and antennas Included. Options on most boats !
- Long, deep keels for increased stability and excellent tracking capability
- Wide steps to easy and safe access, instead of ladders. Sturdy handrails and serious nonskid make transiting even in a seaway safe.
- Wide, Raised Bulwarks to solid footing on the deck, with nonskid cover and handholds around, and 316L stainless steel rails placed to the right height for safe going forward.
- Deep cockpits for added safety.
- Framed windows made of tempered glass for that extra measure of safety.
